Does it cost to post a project on the CB portal?

It does not cost anything to post a project at the CB portal

How long does it take for my project to display on the CB portal?

It is immediate as soon as you submit your project.

Can I upload and post pictures to describe my project and if so how many?

Absolutely you can upload and post up to 6 pictures per project.

Can I upload and post a description document explaining my project?

Absolutely you can upload and post a descriptive document to describe and explain the details of your project.

What format descriptive file I can upload or the system allows you to upload?

The system will allow you to upload files in PDF, word, text, and rich text format.

Can I change my registration information of my account once I register with the CB portal?

Yes you can do so from “edit your information” button link from your account dashboard.

Can I change my initial password that I created at the time of registration at the CB portal?

Yes you can do so from the “change password” link on your account dashboard

Can I send an email the contractors?

Yes you can send emails to contractors from the “compose” link and select the name of the contractor from the list from your account dashboard

Can I send an email the web admin?

Yes you can send emails to contractors from the “compose” link and select “Webadmin” from the list from your account dashboard.

How many contractors can I send my project to for quote at the CB portal?

You can send your project to unlimited contractors.

How many contractors can quote my project at the CB portal?

At least (5) and above contractors will quote to your project by CB operation and fair policy.

Can I rate a contractor at the CB portal?

Yes, only after you conduct a business with a contractor you can rate them.

Can I modify my project after I submit for quote at CB portal?

You cannot modify the core components of the project but you can add additional notes to your project from the provided field once you go to edit mode from “my projects” link on your account dashboard.

Can I change my registration information of my account once I register with the CB portal?

Yes you can do so from “edit your information” button link from your account dashboard.

Can I build my business card at the CB portal?

Yes, you can do so from the “your online business card” link on your account dashboard.

Can I have a profile photo and can I change it whenever I want?

So you can do so from the “profile photo” link on your account dashboard.

Can I have my own company’s logo and how can I upload it?

Yes, you can have your own logo and you can upload it from the “contractor logo” link on your account dashboard.

Can I add additional images describing the work my company does; if so how many?

Yes you can have up to 6 images describing your company.

What is “lead setting” referred to in the account dashboard?

These are settings that adjust the leads that will match your criteria.

What is “selected services” referred under the lead setting?

These are the services that are interested in or services that are in your business scope. Whatever you select in here this is what you will get matched with in terms of services or service category.

What is “selected cities” referred under the lead setting?

These are the cities or locations where you would like do business in also you will be matched according to those settings

What is “project price” referred under the lead setting?

This is the budget setting for your matches if you want to be matched only with jobs above certain budget this what you need to fill in there and you will be matched accordingly if you leave blank your budget value will be “any”.

What is “project times” referred under the lead setting?

This is the project time setting for your matches if you want to be matched only with jobs above certain time in weeks  this what you need to fill in there and you will be matched accordingly if you leave blank your project time  value will be “any”.

What is “my invitation” link’s purpose in the account dashboard?

This is where you see all the home owners or project owners that selected you or invited you based on your contractor ratings to bid or quote on their projects.

What payment methods are accepted at the CB portal for varies transactions?

The payment methods that are accepted at the CB portal are: Visa, Master and PayPal.

Is the CB portal secure for payment transactions?

CB is not processing any monetary or payment transactions even though CB has secure SSL certificate. Unlike the other sites CB routes the payment transaction to a Secure Payment Gateway site and the transaction takes place at the Payment Gateway site and after it is complete it is returned back to the CB portal. CB does not store any credit card information or any Payment login information unlike the other sites.
